I’ve always felt a special connection with cats. They each have their own way of communicating, their own routines, and their own sense of security. It became clear to me that many cats feel unsettled when taken out of their home environment, which is why I wanted to offer something different.
The Purr Retreat provides calm, caring visits within your cat’s own home, allowing them to stay where they feel safest. Every visit is gentle, unhurried and tailored to your cat’s individual needs — whether that’s playtime, companionship, or simply a quiet, reassuring presence.
For me, this is never just a quick visit. It’s about building trust, creating a peaceful experience for your cat, and giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

Reiki at The Purr Retreat
At The Purr Retreat, I offer Reiki as a gentle, calming add-on to support your cat’s emotional wellbeing alongside their usual care.
Reiki is a soft, non-invasive energy practice that promotes relaxation and balance. Cats are naturally intuitive and often respond beautifully to this quiet, peaceful approach, choosing to engage in their own time and in their own way.
This can be especially beneficial for cats who may feel anxious, sensitive, or unsettled due to changes such as their owner being away, new environments, or shifts in routine.
During a Reiki session, your cat is never disturbed or restrained. The experience is completely led by them, creating a calm and respectful environment where they can relax, settle and feel at ease.
